Christmas 2011

This Christmas was filled with lots of celebrating!

First, we headed down to the Mesa Temple to see the lights! Even though the lights are the same every year it is fun to go, see the temple all lit up and see the nativity scenes!
Later in the month we had the Stevenson Family Christmas party. The younger kids do the nativity scene and dress up. This year the Dawson's had their own cast member, Miley! She played a great angel!

Ellianna is getting so big and is so sweet and smiley!
Miley and Anya waiting for Santa to call their names!
Our Annual Christmas Tradition Rudolph Express with the Dawsons and the missionaries!
Christmas wouldn't be complete without Santa Slide out! This year we didn't have Bradley but it was still fun. The only problem we had was that the police officer told us that it was illegal to 'tow' someone behind a car. Kind of silly because we have been doing it for the past 2 years but, that wont stop them from long boarding down the hill!!
This was the first Christmas we had without Mike, because he is in the DR, and boy did we all miss him so much! It was great though because we got to talk to him! It was so great to hear his voice! He sounds so happy and sounds like he is really enjoying his time in the DR. However, he did say that he wouldn't want to go to Rocky Point with us when he comes back because he is done with third-world countries for a while!
Here is me talking to Mike!
Everyone (except Brandon, he was taking the picture).
Mike made Maggie tired and she didn't really care.
Tyler is so tall now, I call him my big brother!
This was the first year without Bradley too. It was fun iChating with him online and seeing his face! It was funny to see his reaction about how big Anya is getting!

We had a great Christmas Season and miss our missionaries terribly! But, we know that they are serving the Lord and are being protected by Him. Merry Christmas!

Mission Buddies

Brandon's mission buddy, Mark, was in town this weekend and we went to lunch with him. Brandon said this was the first time he had seen Mark in 6 years! Brandon trained Mark in Russia and they have been good friends ever since! It's always fun to visit with old friends!

Thanksgiving

This Thanksgiving we started of waking up way too early! Just kidding, we started it off with a Turkey Trot at 8 a.m. The group trotted around the mall while I drove Brandon around on his long board, and also took pictures.
Here is a picture of the group.

After Turkey Trot we got ready for some Thanksgiving lunch and dinner. First we headed over to Adam and Allyssa's where it was obvious they had been cooking a lot! We didn't stay long because we needed to be at Grandpa's at 330.
Elli and Me
I just couldn't get that picture where everyone was looking!
At Grandpa's we had lots of good food and watched the football game... the Cowboys barely won.

They were pretty far away so it is very blurry
