3 Year Anniversary

Brandon and I reached our 3 year mark! I cannot believe it has been 3 years already! How crazy! It's amazing to look back and remember all the things that have happened!

We love Prescott and have made a tradition to go on our anniversaries. We didn't get to go last year but this year we made sure we got to go!

We headed up to Prescott on Saturday morning and came home on Monday. We had lots of fun, we went to Ihop (a must for chocolate-chocolate chip pancakes) Downtown Prescott boutiques, Prescott Valley shopping, Prescott Mall, found the perfect place to build a house, and lots more!
Love the color of the leaves.
Pretty sunset
Favorite chocolate chip pancakes!

Wanted to roll in the leave so bad!

This is where our new house is going to be built!
Ending with Cheesecake Factory on our actual anniversary!

We Made Our Move

This past weekend Brandon and I moved. Our previous apartment complex was unwilling to work with us because we only wanted to sign a 9 month lease (because we could possibly be in Dental school) so we moved. So far we really enjoy our new place and the area we are in. We feel more safe and enjoy being so close to the places we love to go.

Let me tell you the story of this past weekend.
Thursday:
Nothing but boxes all over the apartment, we could hardly walk through the place without stubbing a toe or tripping. But we still needed a few more boxes for the random things that weren't packed yet. Today was also the day we tried to deep clean, you know wipe down the walls, cabinets and appliances, not fun at all.
Friday:
Put the boxes in the Durango, get our money orders and make sure we take a picture at 11:11. So, we packed up the Durango with boxes, headed to Dunkin' Doughnuts and then headed to the bank. The only problem was the it was Veterans' Day and the banks were closed.  So we were a tad bit worried, we drove around to see if the banks in the stores were closed also and found out they were. Then I realized Circle K does money orders so all hope was not lost! We got our money orders, headed to the apartment and got our keys. We were a little bit nervous about walking into the new apartment because we didn't want to be disappointed. But, there was nothing to be disappointed about because we love it!  The ceilings are high, there is crown molding, the walls aren't white, it's a huge open area, the balcony is big, we just really love it.
After we brought up some of the boxes our families helped with the rest!
Saturday:
Heavy moving day and unpacking.

Sunday:
More unpacking and putting up pictures and curtains.

We are making great progress on getting things unpacked, it is definitely turning into a home!

BIG thanks to everyone who helped us move! We couldn't have done it without you!

Brandon drove the big moving truck!

(don't judge us)
We were moving and I RAN to Brandon saying "Brand it's 11:11 on 11/11/11 we need to take a picture!" And we did!

Zoo Trip Brought to You by ACSS

This weekend my work invited it's employees to the Zoo for rides food and fun, and boy did we have fun! The last time Brandon and I went to the Zoo was with Bradley Ashley and Torrin 2 years ago.

We started our day off signing our lease for our new apartment. (It sure is going to feel weird living somewhere else since we have lived here for the past 3 years!) After we signed our lease we headed off to the Zoo!

We started in the aquariums and made our way around. We could have spent the whole day there because there is so much to see! My favorite part is always the petting zoo. I love petting the animals and feeding them! Those little deer and goats are so cute!  Brandon's favorites part was the monkies, I have to admit, they were pretty entertaining.

This little guy liked following my finger

My favorite part!

He got right up there for Brandon!

Wow! Such a clear picture of a PYTHON! Want to know why? There was NO GLASS!

For Bradley

Sweet little camel!

Riding over the Zoo

We wore our converse.

We saw lots of animals when we were up on our ride over the Zoo! The Kangaroo's were probably the funniest!
