Memorial Day

This year for Memorial Day we went to the cemetery and cleaned graves. It seems to be a good yearly tradition to show our respect for those who have passed on. Although most of us don't remember them or never even knew them it is still fun to hear stories about their lives.
We are also grateful to those who have served in the military, those who risked their lives for our freedoms that we sometimes take for granted. Here are some pictures of the kiddies with the American flag.

Brandon has decided that since his anti-Obama buttons are such a hit around town that he is going to sell them!! God Bless America for Capitalism!!

Here is what the button looks like!

Brandon modeling his new button business.

yes, we have 250 anti-Obama buttons!!!!!

Let us know if you want one!! (:
Okay, this next part was added by Brandon's request (he is a goober!)...
Brandon bought his original button about about 5 months ago for $5 plus s/h. He naturally got a better deal buying them in bulk and so he is selling them for $4 dollars. I know what you're thinking but don't worry, I won't let Brandon turn our blog into his personal little online store!

Date Day!

With school, work and more school, it is hard to get a day where Brandon and I get to be together the whole time. I know that's how life is but we miss the time where we could wake up and not have to be somewhere! This last Friday Brandon and I finally got that kind of day!

We got to do a lot of things we have always wanted to do and mostly we got to be together! We started the day at Country Boys, a great home-cookin' place! Our waitress was super cool and gave us a half off deal! Then we went to Swap-Smart to get Brandon cologne but they weren't open! Oh well!

Later that afternoon I got a pedicure! Brandon so sweetly waited for me to be done even though I told him he could get one too! (: After that we got ready to go to Compass Bar and Grill and a Ballet! No we aren't rich (: we won tickets from a radio station! It was so much fun to get all dressed up and go out to a really nice place! We loved it and had so much fun! My date rocked!

Politics

Brandon has been very political lately, in fact many people have asked him if he is going to run for office. He usually says something like "No, not now anyways, I just like educating people and educating myself!" There has been a lot of corruption going on with our Government and Brandon has been educating himself on all the issues, debates and new laws that have been made. Brandon loves to listen to Glenn Beck! After getting back from the American Revival Tour with Glenn, Brandon told me how powerful Glenn was and how much he could feel the spirit. We understand that he has a "non-traditional" personality and seems pretty out there sometimes, but that just makes him not only educational but fun to listen to also. It is amazing how one man can take his radio show and spread the truth through out the country, if you haven't listened to Glenn we strongly request you do! Your eyes will be opened and you will understand why Brandon is so passionate about politics and spreading the truth! We are told to stand up for what we believe, to spread the truth and educate those around us.

As most of you know Brandon and I had the opportunity to go to the SB1070 March. No we were not marching against the law, we were standing up for the law! We stood on the side walk with our signs as the protesters came closer. The closer they got the louder it was, they were chanting and yelling. When they got to Brandon and I, I held on to Brandon's shirt because I thought I was going to get pushed over. There were thousands of people and they all saw Brandon's signs. (: We weathered the storm of insults, chants, pictures, racism, and vulgar gestures. It was sad to see all the people there who were so rude and uneducated (or as Brandon says, people who are insistent on the existence of racism and won't grow beyond it). While we held up our signs a KTAR reporter came over and asked if he could ask us a few questions, naturally I let Brandon do all the talking (: Eventually a few more reporters came over to get in on the action. After the interview we went home!

Never a Dull Moment

Several weeks ago we went to Home Depot for a reason I don't remember. But, we were walking down one of the isles and I see Brandon run and hide under the shelf! What a goober!!! (:

Where is Brandon?!

There he is! (:
