Christmas Time

Christmas Eve:

In the Coniam house hold it is tradition to open presents and eat chimy chaungas on Christmas Eve. This is a great tradition because I LOVE Mexican food and I LOVE my mom's chimmies she is such a great cook, hopefully one day I turn out to be a great cook like her! We had a lot of fun at my fams house hanging out and enjoying being with each other! It is never a dull moment with my 2 teenage brothers! I cannot believe how old and TALL they are getting! It is kinda sad when your youngest brother is 6'2 and you are only 5'6! HAHA!

At the Dawson house hold they have a mission foods tradition! The boys bring their favorite food from their mission for everyone to try like meats, cheeses and crepes! Then after everyone is done eating we sit around the family room and dad Dawson reads the Christmas Story from the Bible. It's so much fun when everyone is over! I mean... a 15 person family?! When would you NOT have fun!

Brandon and I have started a tradition where we go look at Christmas lights and drink hot chocolate, and afterwords we open our Christmas pjs. We love it! It's great just to spend time together and see the Christmas spirit all around!

Christmas Day:

Brandon couldn't sleep because his back was hurting him so we woke up early and opened presents from each other! Here is what we got: (these are our Christmas pjs)

Christmas with the Coniams:

Another Coniam tradition is Christmas morning breakfast! This time we had Christmas breakfast with my mom's dad, GRANDPA! It was a lot of fun and we are so glad that he got to come and hang out with us! Brandon had his new Flip camera and he took video of Christmas Day (this is the first video ever taken on this camera!!)

Christmas with the Dawsons:

Since the boys are big into long boarding they decided it would be fun to create a long board/Christmas celebration called "Santa's Slide-Out". We went to T-bird park where mom and dad Dawson had linner set up for everyone! The boys had a lot of fun showing off their long board skills to all their fans. So here is the gang at t-bird park.

PRESCHOOL!

My mom has started teaching preschool! She teaches 3-4 year olds and she loves it! She is a GREAT teacher! She does fun little crafts with the kids and teaches them different things like the alphabet, lower case and upper case letters, colors, days of the week etc. Preschool is Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 9-12. If any of you are interested in getting more information on this let me know!

Black Friday

Brandon and I heard about the deal going on at Arrowhead Mall and decided to join in on the fun! We got to the mall around 10Pm and waited in line for the next 2 hours. It really wasn't that bad. We got to "people watch" and boy there sure were a lot of crazy people!

As it got closer to midnight people started sneaking in "employees only" doors. Brandon decided that he wanted to go see where they were going and if anyone was stopping them. He looked and saw that they were all going into the mall with no problem. So.... Brandon headed in and went over to Sketchers. He really wanted these shoes at Sketchers and for the most part we REALLY wanted the $50. Long story sort we got the $50! After we got the gift card we caught up with Nicole, Ashley, Bradley and Torrin. It was a fun night!

Baby Chase

June 2, 2006-October 31, 2006

The past few months I have been thinking so much about Chase. I have seen different kids in my family's ward who were born around the same time Chase was and I cannot stop thinking about how much they have changed. They can walk and communicate, they know what is going on. I just cannot help but think about how Chase would be. What he would look like, how tall he would be and how his voice would sound. I miss this little guy so much! I am so grateful that I had the opportunity to be his Sissy while he was on this earth. I know that Heavenly Father has a different plan for Chase and I know that he is in Heaven and that he is alright!

The Twinnies

For the past few weeks I have been thinking about the little girls I use to watch ALL THE TIME!! I LOVE them and they call me their Sissy! They are the sweetest girls you will ever meet! I have known them even before they were born. As they started growing up they started crawling and walking, even walking on the knees counts! (: This year they are turning 5 and I cannot believe how big they have gotten! They can now speak in full sentences, they ask questions in full sentences and they even understand what you are saying when you are asking questions like "Melissa, do you sometimes skip pages when you read to the girls?!" Andie replies "No Sissy, don't skip pages, read it ALL!" I love these girls!

We use to do so much together! For their 3rd Birthday they had a princess party. I was princess Aurora and they were Snow Whites!

They would come over to my house and want to go see my room and hang out and watch TV.

We met them in Circlevill, UT where we visited Nana, Papa and the Daltons!

One night Adrie wanted to put ALL her bows on her head! (:

The Hunters!!

So we haven't blogged in a LONG time mostly because we don't have Internet and because we don't have a lot of pictures to post. But we do have some stories to tell!!

In August the Hunters moved down to Arizona and we are sooo happy!!! They have no idea! Since they have moved down here we have hung out with them quite a bit! We have watched movies, played games like Rook, where us girls have beat the boys on several separate occasions!?!? (: And we have even got to babysit the little girlies! We love them and are so glad that we have had a chance to get to know them better now that they are so close to us!

We love hanging out with Dan, Nicole and the girls, they are so much fun!! Here are some pictures we have taken of the girlies when we were watching them!

Today Brandon turns 24! Holy cow! For his birthday there was a little surprise!

Instead of the whole traditional - here's your present open it and be done - I decided to make him search for his presents in a scavenger hunt! First things first, in order for Brandon to realize he wasn't getting his present right away I wrote him a not in a card that I gave him. This is how it went:

Now I know you are wondering where your present is but in the car I forgot to mention one thing. We hid them (:!!! So you are just going to have to use your smart brain and figure out where they are with these clues! Good Luck!

Exciting News!

So last weekend Dan, Nicole, Miley and Anya came down to AZ to go house/apartment hunting!! We are so excited they are moving down here!! We love them and their little girls so much!! We got to see Anya for the first time and she is so stinking cute! She is such a happy little girl who never cries she is a little angel.

When they were here we planned to have Miley come hangout with us on Friday and spend the night! It didn't work out but we still had fun! To make up for it, Saturday morning Brandon stole Miley from the Fam and brought her to see me at work!! I was so excited to see them both! Miley is such a sweet little girl and could make anyone smile!

So... Brandon and Bradley have become pros at this whole long boarding thing! Brandon rides Bradley's long board to school everyday! He loves it!! So since its summer the boys have been long boarding more often! I like when they go to t-bird park and ride. I am the designated driver and I love it because i get to watch up close! They wear helmets and gloves except for this one time... Brad decided he didn't need his gloves... the first time down the hill went great, the second time not as great.. Brad had a little accident...

Mexico Round 3

We went to Mexico AGAIN! Yes! We LOVE Mexico! If we had the chance we would live there! (:

Anyways, this time Adam, Allyssa and Alexander came down too!! it was so much fun! Alexander is such a cute little man!!

The weather was great and the water was amazing!! I am so glad there were no jelly fish!

We had fun in the water, we went on the canoe looking for a sea lion, we swam in the waves, sometimes it was scary because I could see dark shadows in the water and I didn't like that!

The boys found sting rays by the second sand bar and they swam after them! They loved it!

Mexico is always a blast! We are just so grateful that mom and dad Dawson keep inviting us!! Thanks guys! (:

Happy Birthday Chase!!

June 2 was baby Chase's Birthday. For those of you that don't know Chase you sure missed out on a very special little man! Chase died in 2006 when he was almost 5 months old. Chase was like my little brother! I love him so very much!

So we have a tradition on his Birthday to go to his place and have sort of a pic-nick! We sing happy birthday and eat cake! Chase loved the frosting!! So our other tradition is to feed Cash, (Chase's younger brother) frosting! Cash loves it just like Chase did!! Here are some pictures we took!

The Zoo!

Saturday Brandon and I had the day off so we decided to go to the Zoo! We had buy-one get-one free deals so we took Brad, Ash and Torrin with us! It was so fun! Here are some pictures!
